Title: HR Supervisor

Reporting to: Business Unit Partner

Key job duties

· Salary preparation- monthly- internal salary schedules (monthly-salary spreadsheet)
· Academic support, Registration of Trainees with Universities
· Administration of Bursaries application and payments
· Administration of bursaries application and payouts to staff and universities
· SAICA Registration of all Trainees contract, all administration (registration, completion, remission, suspension, fees payable)
· SAICA queries/ audits
· Exam prizes-yearly
· Encore awards-Nomination
· Policies & procedures (ongoing) Queries and implementation
· HR induction re policies, procedures etc.
· Client HR induction
· Leave administration and control- sick leave, annual, study, FRL (monthly- after 7th of each month)
· Increase schedules, advise ( Jan, March, July, September)
· Exit procedures – provident fund forms, exit form, exit interview, advising head office
· Staff well-being
· Global mobility coordination
· Filing in personal files
· Monthly operational meetings & KPI meeting reports preparation
· Academic support programme monitoring (ongoing) high school plus(and) Universities
· Global People Survey
· Diners Club Card Applications & Processing
· HR budget preparation ( salaries, leave, academic support, headcount, exam prizes, subscriptions payable) (yearly)
· Kenexa applications/ Administration

Responsibilities:
Recruitment:

· Recruitment budget preparation and monthly reporting (yearly & monthly)
· Recruitmax administering (ongoing) access will need to be provided by recruitment
· Screening of CV’s (electronic & unsolicited )
· Graduate recruiting
· Interviews and selection access will need to be provided by HR
· Experienced / professional hires (ongoing) advertisements and screening
· Career exhibitions at schools and university (ongoing, in conjunction with SAICA
· Bursaries (selection, payment, coordination, schedules for payment, communication) (June/ July)Documentation (letters of appointment, structure forms, benefits etc) for new staff

Learning & Development:

· Learning and Development budget preparation (yearly)
· Coordination & administration of national and in-house training (ongoing- mandatory training for trainees)
· Coordination and administration of IT training (new intake, trainees and experienced hire – excel, word, PowerPoint, outlook, excel II
· Training venues, layout, payment etc.

People Process Leader:

· Coordinate and assist with career management, performance management
· Dialogue (MyPD) and Oracle (PR’s and DNA’s) reporting (ongoing, monthly reports, reminders etc.)
· Counselling (career, personal)

Occupational Health and Safety Representatives:

· Ensuring office compliance with OHS Act (ongoing)
· Reporting any irregularities/ deviations from safe practice (ongoing)
· Reporting any incidents (ongoing)

IT (Information Technology)

IT budget preparation and monitoring (yearly and ongoing)

Critical skills

· Ability to deal confidently with individuals at all levels
· Able to work independently, and under pressure, whilst delivering excellent client service
· Good communication skills, both orally and written
· Committed to accuracy and attention to detail with strong administrative, organisational and planning skills
· Able to maintain a high standard of work while working on multiple projects simultaneously
· Good team player
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel

Qualifications and experience

Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field and minimum of five years of professional human resources experience.
